Two year old Backed Over by Car

On July 2, 2006, at about 9:19am, Tillamook County Sheriff Deputies responded to the report of a two year old child that was struck by a vehicle in the driveway at 6670 Alderbrook Rd, Tillamook. Tillamook Ambulance personnel determined the child was deceased on scene.

An older brother had gone outside to move vehicle. Unknown to the older brother, the two year old child followed. When the male backed the vehicle he was unaware that the child was behind the car, causing the death of the child. After the investigation, it was determined that there was no negligence involved.
