Recognized as Employee of the Month for Tillamook County

02-09-2005

TILLAMOOK - Cherry Reaksecker, a Corrections Sergeant for the Tillamook County Sheriff's Officer, was recognized as Employee of the Month this morning.

"Sgt. Cherry Reaksecker is an inspiration to all of us. Cherry's ability to teach as a training officer is invaluable to the Department as well as all personnel she works with. Cherry's knowledge and ability to communicate with fellow officers is an inspiration. She is always on the move doing anything needed to help with any situation. Cherry is a go-getter, sets the standards high, and is a challenge to keep up with. Cherry is a total pleasure to work with." - Corrections Sergeant Jon Briscoe

"Sgt. Cherry Reaksecker has always been a hard working individual who listens to her co-workers, and is willing to laugh and joke right along with the rest of us. She works hard to remain updated and knowledgeable so that she can answer questions and solve problems when they inherently pop up without warning. She's easy to approach and she can be depended on to get the job done. She enjoys sharing photographs and stories of her grandchildren with others, yet doesn't hesitate to confront serious situations with aplomb (confidence) and decisive action. She's a well rounded individual and everyone seems to like her, especially all of us here in the medical department." - Medical Clerk Rhona Wright

"Since I started with the Sheriff's Office, I have looked up to Cherry Reaksecker as a role model. She is a very hard worker who is knowledgeable of her job. She passes on her experience to others (co-workers) in a way that makes them feel confident. She is truly as asset to the Sheriff's Office." - Letter written to Lieutenant Ron Maddox
