OYA Escapee Sentenced to Prison

TILLAMOOK — On December 2, 2006, Inmate Ross Robertson of Camp Tillamook, escapeed from the Minimum Security Facility. Sgt Mike Fox of the Tillamook County Sheriff's Office observed Inmate Robertson running through a log pile at the West end of the Blimp Hanger. Inmate Robertson was located hiding in some brambles and taken into custody without incident by Deputies Jeremy Russell & Jeremy Worledge.

Today, January 29, 2007, Inmate Robertson pled Guilty to Escape in the Second Degree and was sentenced to 25 months in the Department of Corrections. Robertson will serve 24 months of Post Prison Supervison after being released from Prison if the Oregon Youth Authority does not have any further interest in him.
