Compact Transfers In order to qualify for an out-of-state transfer you must have family in that state and a means of support, in other words a job with a letter from an employer stating such, prior to a transfer there. A request for transfer to another state can take up to 60 days before a decision is granted and you would be required to remain in Oregon during that time. A transfer request will not be submitted without the above requirements being met and the Compact fee of $100.00 and a State fee of $50.00 must be paid prior to a transfer request being submitted. It is a general requirement that you show at least six months of compliance with supervision in order for a transfer to be considered which means all supervision fees must be paid current and any Court financial payments be current as well.
