Posting Bail

There are no bail bondsmen in the State of Oregon. In most cases you may have post 10% of the Inmate's total bail for release. There are cases when full bail is required for release. Sometimes the Court has ordered 'No Bail' and the Inmate must wait in Jail until the case is resolved.

If you want to post bail, call the Jail to confirm the correct amount of bail money needed for release.

Bail is accepted in the Front Lobby of the Justice Center 24 hours a day in the form of:

Cash (exact amount only)

Money Order

Cashiers Check

Inmates can also self-bail if they have enough money on their Jail account.

If you intend to mail a Money Order or Cashiers Check to the Inmate for Bail, be sure indicate it is for Bail. Inmates accrue debt after they are housed (i.e. $5 for Hygine Kit, $2.50 for Writing Pack).

After normal business hours, there is a call-box outside the Front Lobby door by the Flag Pole.
